Menstrual hygiene education, awareness, and capacity building

In continuation of the #OnMyPeriod initiative towards menstrual hygiene education, awareness and capacity building, Swacch Association and Global Shapers Nagpur conducted our most recent camp on 29th July 2019 at Sevadal Nagar Shakkardara, Nagpur where we interacted with not just young girls but also married women from different age groups. Our volunteers had engaging discussions with the participants about the various taboos and misconceptions surrounding menstruation.

All participants received our curated “Period Kit” containing biodegradable sanitary pads,Hand wash and a detailed information booklet.

Nagpur Hub continues to organize multiple such camps every month in our aim to connect with 25000+ young girls and women in the Nagpur region
