Leaf Composting Workshop with NMC
Swacch Association with NMC took a Leaf Composting Project at Valmiki School, Ramnagar, Nagpur. We took the project to showcase about how leaves can be utilized and made into composed which can be further used for NMC Gardens. Burning of Leaves being a major problem, But of high calligraphic value can be utilized to enrich soil fertility.
Awareness for Cloth Bags at City Gardens
Maharashtra Govt has taken out a GR for the ban on Plastic and so we at Swacch Association took to creating awareness at gardens for use of cloth bags, also to re-use your old bedsheets curtains and tablecloth and get your own bags made from the self-help group women who have joined us for this project.this way we are also giving them regular work.
